Jelly Roll says he’s “always working on lose this weight My whole life,” but this time, he approached the problem differently—instead of viewing his overeating as a “failure of willpower,” he began to view it as “a biological cycle that I didn’t know how to interrupt.”
“I spent most of 2022 between £480 and £560,” he explains. “That’s how much I fluctuate throughout the year, just up and down.”
This time, he decided not to make any big promises to himself or his family, but to start small. With the help of experts, his first step in losing weight was to start cold jumping and walk 10,000 steps a day.

“I was never meant to live, Joe,” he confesses to Logan. “It was just like before. It was never in my life plan. Even when I was successful, like I got here and life was getting better and better for me, in my mind, I was like, ‘Okay, well, at least when I die, my kids will probably be okay and they won’t be ashamed of me… At least their dad died of obesity because he had mental health issues, but he was a cool guy, man, and he did some cool stuff, you know?”

He added: “I never thought I would be able to live a life like this.”
