Paddy Power World Dart Championship flows in support of multi-million charity initiatives
The power of paddy has gone above and beyond in their short spell as sponsor of the event, which is held at Alexandra Palace in London every Christmas.
In fact, the Sportsbook has donated over £2m to prostate cancer uk throughout the 2024 and 2025 editions.
For every 180 a man scores in this year’s tournament, Paddy Power says it will donate £1,000 ($1,320) to prostate cancer UK. Bigger 180 follows on from the success of Big 180 and the biggest 180 of the last two years.
In addition, should any player hit the nine-sided competition, a staggering £180,000 will be split between the player, a donation to support prostate cancer UK.
This year, there will be an “arrows of fortune” challenge, with one lucky participant. They have a chance to win £180,000 ($238,000) by trying to score 180 or more points with nine darts.
“The Paddy Power World Dart Championship is the biggest party in Sport and we are proud to sponsor it for another five years,” added paddy power.
“We will continue to bring excitement, fun and unmistakable Paddy Power Doutce to the event, wherever it is held.
“But most of all, we are proud to support the important, transformative work of prostate cancer recovery campaigns, our Big 180 Charity initiatives and us helping to create a world where no one dies of prostate cancer.”
