France’s love of comics showcased at the popular Angoulême festival




The French city of Angoulême hosts a popular comics festival every year. This year’s event, which will take place from January 29 to February 2, will be the 52nd edition. The festival’s artistic director, Marguerite Demoëte, joined FRANCE 24’s Delano D’Souza to talk more about comics’ place in French culture, their enduring popularity and some of the names to watch out for at this year’s gathering.
