Attacks on convoys follow previous events in which ships are intercepted or targeted at sea.
In early June, the Israeli Navy intercepted the aid ship summary In international waters, its aid cargo was occupied and 12 crew members were detained, and in May, another ship, conscience, was hit by a drone near the Malta waters, making it unable to continue.
