“The Israelis are interested in ensuring there is no negotiation to resolve the conflict in Gaza,” said American political scientist John Mearsheimer, following the Israeli attack on Qatar’s Hamas-led attack.

Mearsheimer told host Steve Clemons that the United States and Israel were “basically label teams” and that “the United States unconditionally supports Israel” despite President Donald Trump’s slight condemnation of President Donald Trump.

He added that Israel has three main strategic objectives: expanding its territory, moving the Palestinians out of all conquered territory and ensuring that all countries in the region are weak.
