The Premier League has not brought any charges against clubs over profit and sustainability rules for the 2023/24 season.
The new financial rules have caused considerable concern for a number of clubs in England’s top flight. Everton and Nottingham Forest both received point deductions last season for failing to stay within the rules, and many teams have been forced to drastically adjust their transfer plans for fear of their own sanctions.

However, Leicester City are in a legal battle with the Premier League over sanctions related to the 2022/23 season.
“Issues regarding the Premier League’s jurisdiction over Leicester City Football Club in relation to PSR (Profitability and Sustainability Regulations) compliance are currently the subject of confidential arbitration proceedings,” a league statement read.
“Accordingly, neither the League nor the Club will make any further comment at this stage about any aspect of the Club’s compliance or otherwise with any PSR or related regulations, other than to say that no complaint has been made by the League against Leicester.
