Malala Yousafzai urges Muslim leaders not to ‘legitimize’ the Taliban




Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai on Sunday appealed to Muslim leaders to advocate for the education of women and girls despite bans imposed by Afghanistan’s Taliban government that the UN says amount to “gender apartheid”. She also urged Muslim nations not to “legitimize” Afghanistan’s Taliban government.
