I’m a firm believer in bringing everything you need to the party. That includes if the party is held outdoors, in the middle of the woods, with no outlets nearby. And look, I understand trying to go off the grid for your sanity, but how else are you going to keep the vibes going without a little battery power to draw from?

Enter Anker’s new EverFrost 2 Electric Cooler and Solix Solar Umbrella, which debuted this week at CES 2025. The gadgetized outdoor party essentials are launching alongside a 140W Display with charger and a 25,000mAh power bank with a retractable cable. However, the cooler and umbrella piqued our interest the most. The whole point of these gadgets is to offer power when you are out there without having to remember to bring reinforcements. In addition, the cooler is actually disheartening food, and it’s remote controlled so you can monitor the temperature of drinks and food from a distance. ,

The EverFrost 2 Electric Cooler comes in 23L, 40L, and 58L sizes, with the larger variant making the most of the three sizes. The 58L version has two separate compartments that effectively trick a fridge-on-wheels; one side freezes while the other keeps things cool. Of course, both are controlled by an app. The electric cooler also includes a fold-down tray with a handle and IPX3 waterproofing.

Two detachable batteries power each of the coolers, which Anker says can provide up to 104 hours of cooling to both packs at once. Each battery also serves as a power bank with USB-C and USB-A charging ports if you need to charge a phone or keep a string of lights powered on. The cooler has a 100W solar charger, car socket, and USB-C for recharging. The 40L and 58L will be available in February, with a smaller variant launching later in the year.

The Anker Solix Solar Umbrella isn’t as exciting as the coolers. It doesn’t actively cool you down, but it can create shade in the middle of nowhere by being an umbrella. At least, the Solar Umbrella is equipped with 100W output capabilities through both XT-60 and USB-C connection ports, so you can connect various things to it to stay powered. The umbrella is IP67 waterproof and can be used this summer. Pricing for coolers or umbrellas is not yet available.
