Arsenal star Mikel Marino singles for an appreciation from Real Madrid’s ‘Fab Four’

Mikel Marino knows that Arsenal has to be fully warned in both games against Real Madrid if they want to keep their dominant front four quiet and progress in the Champions League semifinals.

Gunners organize rescue champions in the first step of their last-eight tie last night and will depend very much on how the Kalyan Ambappe, Rodrigo, Vinnisi Junior and Jude Bailingham’s Arsenal Madrid’s aggressive threat.

Their function has been tightened by the absence of major central defender Gabriel and Marino knows that the concentration will be key.

He told Marka: “His level is in terms of incredible, physical and quality. In the beginning it was difficult to connect everyone, but now they have made a connection to each other.

“If you switch for a second, if you don’t get the marking right, they can find space and punish you. We have a lot of respect for them, but without fear.”

Marino published Rodrigo as a dredgeman

About Madrid’s assailant quartet, it is at least herdd that Marino is the most appreciated.

Asked who he wanted to play with, Spain International said: “It’s hard to say, but maybe I’ll say Rodrigo. I’m not saying that he is worth it, but he is a player I really like: fast, physical, technology, a great one, is very perfect.”

Madrid has gained a reputation to win the Champions League, especially in Santiago Bernabeu, no matter what circumstances, and Marino knows that Arsenal will have to argue in return fixtures next week.

He said: “When the draw came out, I spoke to some of my (international) teammates from Madrid, but there is nothing very detailed.

“Bernabu always has an energy zoo and is something that must be considered to focus on the last minute, whether it is 90 or 120 in the other leg.

“That stadium and that team always believes and confidently to the end. It is necessary for us to control that chaos in the final minute.”

Merino is enjoying the unknown center-firm role

Gabriel Jesus and Kai Heaverts have been deployed in the role of an unknown center this season due to injuries and influenced by scoring seven times in 34 games.

28 -year -old, who will play tomorrow night despite the end 1-1 draw of Saturday at Everton With a bandage head, enjoyed experience and admitted that he has surpassed his own expectations.

“Yes, being able to contribute as much as a striker to me has been somewhat amazing,” he said.

“I always had that scoring ability, and I think I could have exploited it more in my career, but I didn’t know that to this current issue.

“I feel comfortable in the status and quality of my teammates, because they always keep the ball in the right place.

“I have suited well because I listen to my coach too. I didn’t even think my number is nine, but Mikel (Arteta, his coach) trusted me for this new role and it has been good for now. It’s less and less surprising.”

Arsenal will need to use the brain as well as Bron – Marino

Marino says Arsenal has to be “smart” to get Madrid in the past.

“It will depend very much on how the game is, physicality, time, etc.,” he added.

“Mentality is to win and dominate, but we should suit the type of game. You don’t always play as you wish, and you have to be smart. We will adapt to one style or another style.”
