7-year-old boy injured when drone falls during holiday show


The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the incident occurred after several small drones collided and fell into a crowd at a holiday show on Saturday, December 21.

Sky Elements Drones said in a statement that it was working with the Federal Aviation Administration and Orlando, Florida, city officials “to determine the cause and work to gain a clear understanding of what occurred.”

The second drone show of the night was cancelled. The FAA has launched an investigation.
